Break the Cycle (Girls AM)

All of us have a fear dance; it tends to look like what we do when we are afraid or feel pain. The people around us experience what we do and feel fear and pain, too. It’s a cycle that doesn’t seem to end. Jesus offers a different dance, one that breaks the cycle of fear and replaces it with one of trust. Learn some new habits and patterns of thinking that can help you live in freedom and truth.

Unveiled Faces (Both AM)

True transformation begins with unveiling your face - opening yourself up to the vulnerable process of honestly dealing with you - your story. Come spend time working to unveil your own face in a creative way. Using color, texture, text, and other artistic mediums, we will create an 11x14 self-portrait collage. Communicating your own story through visual image can be a powerful way to access parts of the brain and heart that may surprise both the observer and the artist.

NOTE: Attendees of this break out should be present in the Friday night session to get a photo before the Saturday breakout.

Let’s Talk about Body, Beauty, and Boys  (Adults AM)

I bet you love having awkward conversations and talking about topics that make you blush or feel frustrated or anxious. Of course not! Most of us as parents want to pull the covers over our heads when it comes to conversations with our daughters about body, beauty and boys. The truth is that most of us just don’t know what to say or how to say it. We don’t know where to start the conversation. In this breakout, we’ll cover the topics that are hard to talk about and what to do with the fear we face in parenting.

A New Story  (Girls PM)

More Than Just a Cover (Girls PM)

Everyone has heard “don’t judge a book by its cover," and yet we do that to each other and ourselves all the time when it comes to our appearance as women. Our stories are powerful, beautiful, and impacting and often have little to nothing to do with how we look. Yet, body image is one of the biggest struggles many women will face in their lives. In this session we will learn how to find our identity and true story in the way that God has made us and how He has made us to shine regardless of how we look.

Do you see passion and genuine faith in your friends or people you look up to and wonder what is missing in your life? In this breakout session, we will address how to stop “faking” the Christian walk and develop a genuine relationship with God.
