Left to Her Own Devices:
Teach, monitor, and empower your teens in the world of social media
The world of social media can be confusing, exciting, engaging, beneficial, and dangerous. With current studies showing that at least 50% of teenage girls report they are “online on an almost near-constant basis,” chances are the use of social media has touched your home, church, groups, daughters, and probably you yourself. Like any tool of connection, we need to be well-informed on how we use it. In this breakout we'll learn more about raising our girls to interact wisely, boldy, and kindly and how to empower them to use social media in ways that feed their souls and make them confident that they are more than their online presence.
